Jeremy Andrews is the Director and Principal Mortgage Adviser at Key Mortgages, based in Whangarei. From an early age, Jeremy had a knack for spotting a good deal and a natural pull toward numbers and problem solving. That led him to a degree in Business and Information Systems, combining analytical thinking, problem solving, and commercial knowledge that continues to underpin his approach to mortgage advice today.

Jeremy started his mortgage advisory career in 2016 and founded Key Mortgages in 2021 with a simple aim: to deliver exceptional outcomes and remain in his clients' corner for the life of the loan, not just until settlement. Today he leads the Key Mortgages team, sharing their combined 100 years of financial services experience and helping clients navigate everything from straightforward First Home Buyer purchases to genuinely complex lending scenarios.

What Jeremy enjoys most about mortgage advising is helping clients achieve outcomes beyond their expectations. Whether it's buying a first home, building an investment portfolio, purchasing a business, or creating long-term wealth, he takes pride in finding solutions that make a meaningful difference to people's lives.

Over ten years in the mortgage broking industry, Jeremy has helped thousands of clients across New Zealand and overseas secure home loans, investment property finance, business finance, and commercial lending solutions. He has facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in lending, from first homes and investment portfolios through to business purchases, commercial building projects, and the occasional left-field deal – machinery and aircraft finance included. Whatever the size of the deal, the approach stays the same: get the structure right, then keep checking in as life and goals change.

Born and raised in Whangārei, Jeremy spent time in Auckland in his twenties before coming home to Northland for the lifestyle, the opportunities, and the family ties. He's also a property investor and short-term accommodation operator himself, giving him firsthand experience with many of the lending and wealth-building strategies his clients are working towards. The advice he gives comes from sitting on both sides of the lending table, not just the adviser's side of the desk.

He lives in Northland with his wife and their two children. Outside work he's into mountain biking, running, diving, dancing, and a steady rotation of board games, most of which the kids have now been roped into.
